Favorite Deck Of Cards

Hello,

I was searching through the Decknique forums when I stumbled across a thread.  This thread was tittled “Which Deck Means Most to You?”  So this made me really think…  Then I came up with a brilliant idea!  I would find my first deck of cards that I used in magic and sign it myself!  And my first deck is a blue deck of standard blue Bicycle Playing Cards nothing too special.  Or is it?  The reason that I think that my first deck signed by me is special is because it has sentimental value!  Not just because some teen pop-star signed it.  No, I love this deck because it is MINE!  And even though to some other random guy on the streets this deck would go up on Ebay starting the bidding at $0.99 I would never sell this!  So the moral of this all is that even the simplest things can be of great value to YOU, and that’s what truly matters!

De’vo’s Retirement

Hello everyone,

I am about to deliver news that some of you may care about while others may not.  So De’vo is going into retirement.  Now here’s the interesting side of the story.  There are two sides:

1. “Woah!  Why is De’vo retiring?  He can’t retire!  He’s too good”

2. “Big whoop.  All he ever really did was make teh cobra cut.”

Happy Fifth of November!

Hello everyone,

I am wishing you all a happy Fifth of November!  Now some of you are probably thinking I belong in an assylum right about now, but today really is a holiday.  It just isn’t well known to many people.  So now that you know I am not insane you are probably wondering what is special about the Fifth of November…

November the Fifth is when Guy Fawkes (a member of the English Roman Catholic Revolutionaries) tried to blow up the parliament building up with gunpowder.  So it is called “The Gunpowder Treason.”  For anyone who has watched the movie V for Vendetta then you should know this quote:

“Remember, remember the fifth of November. The Gunpowder Treason and plot. I know of no reason why the Gunpowder Treason whould ever be forgot!”
